Great game for train enthusiasts
We played the US version with friends. This Europe Deluxe Edition was worth the extra money with the nicer pieces and tins to keep each players trains organized.

Awesome Game...Packaging sucks
This game is awesome! It's easy to learn and truly entertaining! Too bad there was absolutely NO packaging....None. It was the game in the original cellophane, and that was it, so the box was a bit damaged when I received it. Had it been packaged in a cardboard shipping box, there certainly would have been no damage at all.

Fantastic upgrade
Our family does enjoy playing the original game. This mega version is excellent. Adds in new features - stations, tunnels and ferries. Added complexity makes for more strategy. Love it!

Beautiful but TOO BREAKABLE
We LOVE this game and this set is absolutely beautiful, BUT, the pieces are just too delicate to be practical. Right out of the box several of the train cars were broken, especially the black ones. There are these tiny little nubs on the ends that seem to get stuck between the grey cylinders on the black cars and snap off pretty easily. And the train stations are likewise just too delicate- we have already had several of the skinny legs snap off with normal play and storage. The board and cards are gorgeous, but would not recommend the extra money for this set. When I went to the Days of Wonder site to look into replacement parts I was referred to another retailer, and their site basically just told me to return the product to where ever I bought it from. Not helpful. I just needed some replacement parts. I haven't seen the original version of the European game, but we have the regular USA version and it's much more robust.

Almost as good as the original…
My family has played the US map/version of Ticket to Ride (TTR) for many years. I own the commemorative version (10th Anniversary edition) of TTR, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing it. I’ve played TTR Europe via the app on my iPad since it was first available. I say all of that to say, I’m no novice when it comes to TTR. First the positives…this commemorative edition (15th Anniversary) is absolutely gorgeous. The trains are very detailed, and each set has its own corresponding tin. The box is well designed and organized with a place for everything. The board is beautifully finished, and everything, including the Tickets and Train cards have a quality feel to them. The game itself is challenging and fun, but…. Negatives: While the addition of the Ferries and Stations make the gameplay different and challenging, the addition of the Tunnels (routes of unknown length basically) significantly slow down the whole game. It took us three hours to play one game and it became very frustrating, so we’ve decided as a family to remove the Tunnels from future games. The only other negative is re: the confusion of which Destination tickets to use (1912 version vs Big Cities version, etc). Basically, if your family likes games of strategy, this is definitely a game you should try! We love it!!

Beautiful. (And, of course, fun.)
My 8-year-old daughter loves ticket to ride, so we got this for Christmas. It’s a massive box, and the build quality is phenomenal. I love that the trains are different colors and models. It comes with a number of expansions - but that really just means it has more destination cards to pick from. If you have played tickets to ride, you’ll pick this up quickly. If you have never played ticket to ride, you can pick this up in a half hour or so. We order this to the original, I think because the trains themselves are more fun to play with, but I C also like how much more variation you get on this map in terms of the routes to can make. The only negative is that because so many “expansions” are included, we have to sort through the destination cards each time to include only the ones we want. Also, the stations are a little fiddly in terms of their mechanic, so you should read and re-read the rules for them before your first game.

My Husband and I LOVE this game!
We ordered this for our Wedding Anniversary with the idea to make time for more game nights on the weekends just us two after the kids are down. It's been an every weekend thing since! We love this game and play it for hours on end.

What an awesome game!
My wife and I were recently introduced to the original Ticket to Ride by some friends, and it was so enjoyable and addictive that we decided to purchase one for ourselves. Couldn't find the anniversary version of the original Ticket to Ride, but found this European version on Amazon, and we've had so much fun with it since we purchased it. It has some modifications to the original version - which makes it more enjoyable and challenging, and we love the larger size cards, and detail that go into the board and trains in the anniversary version. No regrets!

A worthy upgrade.
More expensive than the regular game. However, the metal boxes for the trains, the included expansion, the larger board, and other fine details make this a good value overall. Was also well received by others that played with me.

Love love love!!
The new up dates to the game board are amazing. We enjoy playing this game very often, the 15th anniversary is very well constructed. We have other versions of this game, including Rails and Sails. Recommend for any strategy game players out there.

Great Ticket To Ride
This is one in a series of Ticket To Ride. It's challenging but great fun and not too difficult to learn. Fun for a group of friends and family.
